You can also buy the PP sheets or scoring blade separately.

Acrylic resin:

I recommend Jesmonite for casting as opposed to quick-set concrete. It's easier to use, has a nicer surface finish and is easier to add pigment too.

Which is enough to make ONE casting and includes:
> Jesmonite AC100 liquid - 250g

> Jesmonite AC Base Powder - 600g

> 2 x Re-Usable Coaster Moulds

> Mixing Sticks, Gloves, and Instructions.

( TOTAL Material = 850gm Jesmonite AC100
:
Pour no. 1 - 100gm liquid and 250gm powder

Pour no. 2 - 75gm liquid and 187gm powder

2 )  3.5 kg Jesmonite :
Enough to make 3-4 castings.
3 )  Jesmonite pigment set:
includes 10 colours

NOTE: Jesmonite pigments will only work with Jesmonite and Acrylic resin, they do not also work with Bio/Epoxy resin.

Bio resin:

1 ) Pebeo Gedeo Crystal Bio resinThis is the exact resin I use in the course. Its 50% bio content which is better for the planet! Check the quantity, it comes in 150ml / 300ml / 750ml.

2 ) 24 x Bio Resin/Epoxy Pigment set: An inexpensive kit of 24 colours. NOTE: You cannot use the same water-based pigments you use with Acrylic resin with Bio Resin.

3 ) 24 x Bio Resin/Epoxy Mica Powder set: A set of x24 Mica powders for create pearlescent affects.

Mold making materials:

2 ) A3 Foamboard, 5mm thick.

3 ) Sticky back Vinyl wrap.

Respirators:

Respirator for working with Resin. ( Typically 'Bio-Resin' contains some epoxy resin, so we need to protect ourselves for Epoxy resin )

There are many different types of Bio-resin (and Epoxy)  and types of masks. Here is a video explaining the difference between masks and respirators

I recommend a full face mask if you can source one, as they also protect your eyes. I only wear a half-mask because of my glasses, but both masks will filter out the resin fumes when used with the correct filters. Remember having good ventilation in your workspace is important too.

There are many types of masks and filters so ideally get a mask and filter combo that filter out both organic and inorganic vapours.

For the 3M Mask there are suggestions from many professional resin users for the right filter to use, but as I understand it 6055/6057/6059 will provide protection from resin fumes.

These masks and filters have been recommended by professionals who work with resin everyday:

1 ) 3M half mask and Filters (you need to buy both).

2 ) 3M full face mask and Filters (you need to buy both).

4) Full face mask includes filters. I havn't tried this mask but it claims to filter organic vapours, meet the safety standards, and is an affordable option for a full face mask.
