You can also buy the PP sheets or scoring blade separately.

Acrylic resin:

I highly recommend you use Acrylic resin not concrete for your project, as it's easier to use and produces a nicer object.

1 )  Jesmonite AC 100: 3.5kg: This is the acrylic resin I show in the course and use in my studio everyday.

2 ) Aqua ResinAqua resin is one of the original acrylic resins, gives great results and has been around for a long time.  It comes as a powder you mix with water to the ratio recommended.

3 ) Liquitex acrylics: These acrylic paints will work well as a pigment to colour all of the above acrylic resins and there is a great range.

Acrylic resin pigments will only work with Jesmonite and Acrylic resin, they do not work with Bio/Epoxy resin.

Decorative Object Design with Eco-Resins

Acrylic resin:

1 )  Jesmonite AC 100: 3.5kg: This is the acrylic resin I show in the course and use in my studio everyday.

2 ) Aqua Resin : Aqua resin is one of the original acrylic resins, gives great results and has been around for a long time.

Bio resin:

1 ) Pebeo Gedeo Crystal Bio resin, 750ml. This is the exact resin I use in the course. Its 50% bio content which is better for the planet! 750ml is enough to make either the Lightshade or Planter, or final project. NOTE: you have to buy this Crystal casting resin NOT the glazing resin.

2 ) Bio Resin / Epoxy pigments: Professional high quality and concentrate pigments. Choose individual colours.

3 ) Bio Resin / Epoxy pigments set of 20:

4 ) Bio Resin / Epoxy Mica powders set of 18: Mica powders give you a pearlescent effect.

Mold making materials:

1 ) A3 Foamboard, 3mm thick. This is the exact foamboard I use in the course. I prefer 3mm thick as its easier to 'crush' and fold, but you can also use 5mm thick as well. You need minimum x 2 sheets for making either the lightshade or planter mould.

2 ) Sticky Back Vinyl. This is the wrap I use to cover the foamboard, to make it non-stick. It's great to use as it doesnt stretch and has a glossy finish.

Respirators:

Respirator for working with Resin. ( Typically 'Bio-Resin' contains some epoxy resin, so we need to protect ourselves for Epoxy resin )

There are many different types of Bio-resin (and Epoxy)  and types of masks. Here is a video explaining the difference between masks and respirators

I recommend a full face mask if you can source one, as they also protect your eyes. I only wear a half-mask because of my glasses, but both masks will filter out the resin fumes when used with the correct filters. Remember having good ventilation in your workspace is important too.

There are many types of masks and filters so ideally get a mask and filter combo that filter out both organic and inorganic vapours.

For the 3M Mask there are suggestions from many professional resin users for the right filter to use, but as I understand it 6055/6057/6059 will provide protection from resin fumes.

These masks and filters have been recommended by professionals who work with resin everyday:

2 ) 3M half mask and 6059 Filters (you need to buy both). ( This is the combo I wear )

3 ) 3M full face mask and 6059 Filters (you need to buy both).

4) Full face mask includes filters. I havn't tried this mask but it claims to filter organic vapours, meet the safety standards, and is an affordable option for a full face mask.
