Unfortunately I am unsure of when I will be able to re-start my London workshops so you cannot book for now and I have paused the gift-voucher function for now too.

Details of the workshops below:

SUMMARY > A two hour workshop in which participants make a unique small bud vase ( 15cm tall approx.) from a fine-cement (Jesmonite) with Phil Cuttance in his North London Studio, using a casting technique unique to Phil. Each participant has the opportunity to conceive and cast their own truly unique vase, no two vases are ever the same !

You will choose from 4 different vase shapes, assemble your own mould, and then mix and cast your own vase in your own unique colour scheme, marbled effects etc. See images above for examples of vases cast in the workshops.

GIFT VOUCHER OPTION

Select a Gift Voucher with your own personalised message. I can either send it to you via email or print and post the voucher to the recipient, with a one day turnaround. The voucher does not have to have a date on it, never expires and can used as a contribution to one of my objects instead. am always adding extra dates to the currently listed ones.

CANCELLATION and COVID POLICY

I understand that booking any event is daunting in the current climate. Therefore my cancellation policy is very generous; if you book a workshop, but cannot attend on the day for any reason, I will re book you in at a later date. At any point before your workshop if you would prefer a refund, I am happy to do that too.

In the event that your workshop is postponed due to Covid, I can re-book you or refund you as above.

VENUE > Phil Cuttance Studio, E10 7QP LEYTON, LONDON

NUMBERS > 6 people maximum per session.

WHAT YOU MAKE > You will cast your own unique bud vase ( approx. 15cm tall ) in any colour you wish, and can add marbled effects also.

SKILL / SAFETY > No previous craft or art experience necessary. Every step in the process is safe and demonstrated beforehand. All materials and processes used in the workshop are safe, and the materials used are non-toxic and VOC free.

WHAT YOU WILL DO ? >

A two hour , hands-on workshop for all skill levels that will introduce you to Phil’s casting technique. By using the process Phil has created to cast his Faceture vases, you will cast your own unique Bud vase from Jesmonite Stone.

You will select a shape based on pre-made vases, and then assemble your own mould from a selection of several pre-made shapes. You will then select your cement type and mix your own colour / marbled finish and cast, your own unique vase. Once cast the vases then take 48hrs to set, so you will leave your vase to set at Phil's studio, and it will be sent to you a few days after .
